At PERISCOPE, we believe that diversity, equity, and inclusion are essential to our mission of providing entrepreneurship training programs that empower entrepreneurs who are part of the global majority.

As an organization led by an immigrant with lived experience, we understand firsthand the challenges that individuals from diverse backgrounds face in pursuing their entrepreneurial dreams.

We are committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment where all entrepreneurs feel valued, supported, and empowered to succeed.

We recognize the importance of diversity and the value it brings to our organization and our programs.

Our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion is demonstrated in the following ways:

Inclusive leadership: Our leadership team reflects the diversity of the entrepreneurs we serve, and we prioritize recruiting and retaining talent from diverse backgrounds.

Culturally responsive training: We provide training that is culturally responsive and relevant to the needs of entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds. We recognize that cultural differences can impact the way entrepreneurs approach business and ensure that our programs are tailored to meet the needs of the diverse communities we serve.

Equity and access: We are committed to providing access to entrepreneurship training programs for all entrepreneurs, regardless of their background. We understand that systemic barriers exist, and we are committed to working to dismantle them.

Creating a safe and supportive environment: We create a safe and supportive environment for all entrepreneurs. We actively seek out and address unconscious biases and strive to create a culture of belonging.

Accountability: We regularly evaluate our programs and practices to ensure that they align with our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. We hold ourselves accountable for creating an organization that is welcoming, inclusive, and empowering for all entrepreneurs.
